Where's Waldo?

I've changed my mind about my literature project. Instead, I'm going to do sort of a "Where's Waldo" theme. I'm going to have someone hide somewhere in the photograph, similar to the Where's Waldo books.

For my literature project, I want to do something involving Disney. Since I'm going to DisneyWorld over the break, I want to incorporate that into my project. Except I have no idea what exactly to do.

I don't know where to shoot my photographs this weekend. I think that I will go into DC and try to get some shots that will work in HDR.

The photos that I took last weekend aren't going to work for my HDR Landscape project. So I have to completely reshoot my project.

This is an example of a landscape with HDR. It has almost a fake look to it, which is really interesting.

I need some ideas for what kind of scenes I'm going to shoot for my landscape project. Maybe I'll take some pictures of trees with different colored leaves. I could try to shoot an open space, but I think I would either want it during the day or at sunset. I can't decide.

For my landscape project, I think I'm going to do HDR. It could look really cool.

This photo of a construction site looks really cool. I think that I might try to take some photographs of the buildings and construction sites at sunset to see if I could get anything like this.

For my Artist Presentation, I am using Brian Robbins as my artist. His main focus is architectural photography, and I find his photographs really interesting. Here's his website:

I was just looking up Architectural photography, and came across this photo. I love the angle, and the lines/wires/poles all over it make the photo really interesting.

This is a photograph of a building from an interesting angle. I think that while shooting for my project, I'll try using this angle.

For my "Social Issues" project, I am going to take photographs of how Arlington is losing it's uniqueness, and slowly just morphing into a city just like every other city. Sort of an "urbanization" issue. I'll take photographs of things like construction sites, tall buildings in Arlington, and enormous houses that were built on lots that were too small.

This is one of my photos for my Portraits project, with my Alter Ego theme. I was going for a sort of drug addict of some kind.

While photographing my project, I keep going back and forth on my background for the photos. I can't decide if I need just a plain white background (which is what I'm leaning towards) or having a more elaborate background (like trees or a landscape or something). I think I'm going to just have the white background because I feel like a more elaborate background would distract from the person that I'm photographing. I also think that I want to have my photographs in black and white, it would cause more drama between the alter ego photographs.

Since my last post was about the Fall season, I figured that I will also give one of my Winter photos from last year. I was messing with selective color

I took this photo last year around the end of October. It just reminds me of Halloween and thanksgiving, and I love Fall.
